September 24th, 2016/East Tawas, Michigan/ – Global Sporting Safaris, Inc. (GSS) announced that the Holy Family School in East Tawas, MI raised $2,000 at their annual fundraising event through our hunting trip donation program.   The “Tawas Grande Giveaway” auction event was held on September 24th 2016, to help raise school funds. The dedicated parents and staff members donated their time to put together an outstanding event that raised considerable funds for their children’s school.

Last year, Global Sporting Safaris’ donated two African hunting safaris to the Holy Family school for the “Tawas Grande Giveaway” event where $3,350 was raised as a result. This year GSS was able to donate again to this exciting event through the African Hunt Club’s donation program.  The items were included in the school’s fundraising auction where attendees placed bids to purchase the donated trips.  The high bids came in at $1,000 each bringing the 2-year total to $5,350 generated through the donations made by Global Sporting Safaris’ African Hunt Club.  It is always a positive experience to know that your efforts helped to make a difference in the life of a child.  Global Sporting Safaris is proud to be part of these efforts and is making it possible through our donation program.

Global Sporting Safaris has donated over $5,560,400 in hunting trips* in recent years helping many not for profit charities raise valuable funds for their worthy causes. “We have put together a high quality hunting donation that allows Global Sporting Safaris (GSS) to give back to the ‘not for profit’ organizations that help to promote our industry and our passion,” says Rick Kennerknecht, CEO of Global Sporting Safaris.

Global Sporting Safaris (GSS) makes this donation available to 501c3, 501c4 or 501c6 organizations and there are a limited number of hunting trips available each year.  The outfitters in this fundraising program offer topnotch accommodations, excellent hunting areas, professional staff, exquisite local cuisine and trophy quality animals. “I have personally visited and hunted with our African outfitter to assure quality and a positive experience for our clients” shared Mr. Kennerknecht.  Fundraising and donation details can be found at www.gssafaris.com/fundraising and please visit our Facebook page here: www.facebook.com/nonprofitfundraisingideas.
