 The Larson Lake waterfowl area consists of about 3,600 miles of prime farm land and an abundance of wetlands. One of our major attractions just outside Spiritwood is Witchekan Lake, a game bird preserve with an abundance of waterfowl. This lake is approximately 12x12 miles. Waterfowl hunting is done in portable ground blinds which are camouflaged according to field conditions. Lay down blinds are also available.

 LARSON LAKE OUTFITTERS IS YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Only 1½ hours north of Saskatoon and easily accessible by road, our fully furnished lodge provides all modem amenities, bedding, towels, a full-time cook, and a big  screen satellite TV for watching your favorite hunting videos. The homelike, family atmosphere at Larson Lake Lodge provides a perfect environment for family participation. Hunters are welcomed to bring their spouse and family members with them. Accommodation and pricing for non-hunting companions are available upon request and subject to available space. |

STYLE OF HUNTING: We hunt mostly pea and barley fields. Geese are hunted in the morning and ducks in the afternoon.
DUCK & GOOSE HUNTING SEASON: The Saskatchewan Duck & Goose Hunting season is our area will run from September 1st to October 31st. |

 ARRIVAL POINT FOR INCOMING GUESTS:
Fly into the Saskatoon International Airport, where we will make arrangements to meet you and transport you to the lodge, or you if prefer to drive to our facility on your own, car rentals are available at the Saskatoon airport. Driving maps available upon request. |

 HUNTING CLOTHES & EQUIPMENT: Bring light and warm Camo gear and the Saskatchewan weather can be unpredictable. The ability to dress in layers is important. Bring your own gun and shotshells. Shotshells can be purchased here in Saskatchewan if you prefer. Just let us know what type you need and we can let you know the cost.
HUNTING LICENSES: Saskatchewan Waterfowl hunting licenses are purchased in camp and are not part of the package price, Hunting licenses will cost approximately CAN$150 or US$130. |

 NON-RESIDENT FIREARM IMPORT DECLARATION: All non-Canadian residents entering Canada with a firearm will be required to complete a mandatory Non-Resident Firearm Declaration. This form must be presented when clearing Canada Customs upon entry with a registration fee of $50 paid in Canadian currency. Larson Lake Outfitters will mail you the necessary forms upon request, or they may be downloaded from the Canadian Firearms Centre website at www.cfc-ccafgc.ca or by calling them at 1-800-731-4000. HANDGUN NOTE: Handguns are strictly prohibited and may not be imported into Canada. |

| TROPHY PROCESSING AND TAXIDERMY: Larson Lake Outfitters can supply a taxidermist if you wish or we can process your birds for delivery to your own taxidermist back home. |

| BONUS GROUSE HUNTS: During the season, you may elect to go hunting for Sharp Tailed Grouse, Hungarian Partridge, Ruffed Grouse or Spruce Grouse in between the morning goose hunting and the afternoon duck hunting AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! |

BIRDS HUNTED AND DAILY LIMITS:
DARK GEESE: (White fronted & Canada Geese): 8/Day of which only 3 may be White Fronted.
WHITE GEESE: 20per Day.
DUCKS: 8 per day of which only 3 may be Pintails.
SHARP TAILED GROUSE: 3/day or 6 per season.
HUNGARIAN PARTRIDGE: 8/day or 24 per season.
RUFFED GROUSE: 10 per day or 20 in possession.
SPRUCE GROUSE: 10 per day or 20 in possession.

DURATION OF HUNT: Our Saskatchewan Waterfowl hunts are either 4 or 5 day hunts. You arrive in camp on Sunday and depart on Friday for the 4-Day hunt or Saturday for the 5-Day hunt.
COSTS: The 4-Day Saskatchewan Duck & Goose hunt is US$2,000 and the 5-Day Saskatchewan Duck & Goose hunt is US$2250. Prices may vary year to year due to operating expenses. A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. The balance is due 60 days prior to your arrival. |
