Non-Profit Fundraising Ideas
Global Sporting Safaris (GSS), a full-time hunting and fishing travel agency since 1991, is pleased to have put together a very high-quality fundraising in-kind donation program with sustainable hunting trips that allows us to give back to the not-for-profit organizations that help to promote our industry and our passion. While these corporate donations may have minimum bids, they are all 100% donations to you and never with any obligation if the auction doesn’t meet the minimum bid. The reason we use minimum bids (qualifiers) is to make it profitable for the fundraiser and to make sure the buyer can afford airfare, trophy fees, etc. are available to 501c3, 501c4 or 501c6 organizations, Church fundraising and School fundraising.
GSS has partnered with outfitters and lodges that practice sustainable hunting as a conservation tool, only harvesting mature male trophy animals who have already passed on their genes to the next generation multiple times. These mature animals are at the end of their natural lifecycles. Selective trophy harvesting is also more honorable to the animals than being harvested by predators at the end of their lifecycle. The trophy fees paid help put valuable resources back into the game ranches that benefit all species of big game, small game, reptiles, birds and others by providing water, cover and natural food essential for survival in the hot African temperatures.
We have invested a good deal of time and resources in choosing international hunting outfitters that were qualified and willing to partner with us to give a bit of their profit to support not-for-profit organizations. Together with our outfitters, we now have two excellent hunting trips available for your organization.
