Panama FishingIt is said that Panama means “An Abundance of Fish”.  The Global Sporting Safaris team has fished the waters around Panama and we agree 100%.  Our consultants have fished all over the world and this without questions is one of their favorites!  Not to mention a world class lodge and outstanding local Captains.

In fact you will be in great company while you fish with one of our Captains.  They have a combined total of 70 years of fishing experience in these waters. You decide on the fishing method you prefer and they will put you on the fish!  Big fish and in almost unbelievable numbers abound in the waters surrounding the lodge. Calm waters and short boat rides all add up to an unforgettable fishing experience.

Panama Fishing ChartersWorld class offshore action is often enjoyed while fishing legendary Hannibal Bank and Montuosa Island.  Monster Black and Blue Marlin call this area home.  In addition schools of Wahoo, giant Yellowfin Tuna, Pacific Sailfish and Dorado congregate in these waters to feast in these bait-rich waters. Panama is without a doubt the number one destination to pursue giant Black Marlin in the 300 to 500lbs range. A Black Marlin weighing 1017lbs was caught in these waters in 2004.  You could land the next Grander.  These same fertile waters are the Eastern Pacific’s top angling destination for giant Yellowfin Tuna.  These monsters can tip the scales at over 250lbs!

This Global Sporting Safaris outfitting partner specializes in fishing for Yellowfins on poppers!  Talk about a rush in 2006 they land a 267-pounder on a popper.  Others species taken on popper include Cubera Snappers, Rooster Fish, Azul Trevally, and several other hard fighting fish species. From May to October you can count on large schools of viscous Wahoo to provide awesome trolling action. Multiple hook-ups are possible.

Panama Fishing LodgeThere are no hidden charges with this fishing adventure.  You airport pick-up, bar tab, bait, and licenses are all included. You will dine in the open air dining room. After dinner feel free to relax in the pool with swim up bar. Whether at the bar, restaurant, or your room you will have a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean.  We have created a package that is surprisingly very affordable for such a remote, amazing, first class fishing resort. Although this area is beautiful, we cater to the hardcore fisherman!

Accommodations

You will be staying in beautiful cabins or lodge rooms surrounded by tropical forest.  The rooms are air-conditioned for your comfort.  After a long day of arm-busting fishing you will appreciate the attentive staff as you take a swim in the custom designed pool, complete with swim up bar.  The lodge was built by hand by the owner and his staff.  You will enjoy all the unique features of the lodge.
