Montana Elk HuntingThe 2009 Montana rifle hunting season was our figural year at this 7th generation owned working ranch! We are very excited to be able to offer our clients this rare opportunity to hunt both elk and mule deer on a truly private 15,000 acre ranch. Montana's famous Elkhorn's hunting unit is very close to the ranch and bordering the ranch there are thousands of acres of prime hunting ground.

Our 2009 season went well with one client taking a bull in the 340 class! Most every hunter that wanted to take a mule deer did so. If history repeats itself you should have ample opportunity to harvest a mule deer in the 140-170 gross score range.

Your hunt will begin each morning with a hearty ranch style breakfast. After that you and your guide will begin your search for your big bull. Because the ranch is all private the owners have established a strategic road system allowing you to access the best hunting areas by 4x4 saving you hours on horseback. The ranch is comprised of numerous foothills, agriculture fields and creek bottoms. The hunting technique is simple; spot and stalk.2010 hunters will have the option of using strategically placed blinds for those hunters who enjoy watching and waiting for game. The views from the blind will take your breath away! The shear vastness and amount of game are amazing. This is true Big Sky Country.

Elk HuntingHunters are accommodated in modern ranch facilities. After a long day of hunting you will appreciate coming back to a filling dinner, hot shower and warm bed.

Gather a group of 4 on the second or third hunt and you have 15,000 private acres to hunt on your own (2x1 guided)! You can also apply for an antelope tag on this hunt. For those that draw, add antelope to the hunt for FREE with a harvest fee of $500.00. But for the elk and mule deer there is no draw...the tags are guaranteed through the outfitter.

*** The clients requested and we listened! New for 2011. Base hunt cost is only $3500.00. The next animal is $1000.00. If you are on one of the first two hunts you can apply for an antelope license. There are some beautiful antelope on the ranch — you only pay a $500.00 trophy fee upon harvest. Go ahead and just price a trophy antelope hunt, they begin at $1950.00 and go up from there
