Sierra Brava Sierra Brava is one of three lodges Global Sporting Safaris proud to represent. This is a very comfortable lodge with 6 large double bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Sierra Brava shoots the same roost area or hunting grounds as Los Chanares from July-February. During these months, the drives to the field are 15 minutes or less. From March-June, Sierra Brava has probably the best collection of “flatland” fields. The Argentina dove hunting during these harvest months is excellent because Juan Jose has a collection of excellent farms through his family connections. The drives during these months are 45-60 minutes.

In a very short time, Sierra Brava has become synonymous with high volume, hot-barreled dove hunting. Last year, Sierra Brava hosted Jack Minter who broke the world record for doves shot in one day – 10,012 birds on 13,000 rounds. But the thing that clients rave most about Sierra Brava is that the place feels like a home away from home. Juan Jose usually is the person to pick you up from the airport and he is with the clients for most of the trip. All the staff and especially the bird boys will go the extra mile to make your dove hunting trip perfect.

There are several reasons why you would want to consider Sierra Brava for your next Argentina Dove Hunting adventure:

  • You can only travel in April and May when Los Chanares is closed. The dove shooting is extremely high volume during these months.
  • You are on a tighter budget. The Sierra Brava trip fee is about 35% less expensive than Los Chanares.
  • You want a private lodge with a group of 6-8. As the lodge is smaller, we are more flexible with giving guests the private lodge.
  • Los Chanares is full and you can only go on certain dates.
