Posta del NortePosta del Norte was recently acquired by the Los Chanares family of Cordoba Dove Hunting lodges, “one of the finest bird hunting destinations in the world. We have very attractive introductory rates for next year.”

The lodge “will be positioned as a private deal where you can have the lodge with only four people. With four paying guests you can have the private lodge. We will target families or business people who want a more intimate setting. And of course enjoy the world-class doves in the area.”

David notes the following highlights/ features of Posta del Norte: It’s located 70 kilometers north of Cordoba airport strategically set between the two most important roosts in Cordoba — Macha and Churqui. Drive times are on average 30 minutes due to this strategic location. The lodge offers access to over 150,000 acres of shooting fields.

Cordoba Dove HuntingAdditionally, shooting is tailored for the clients. In other words, Argentina dove shooters will get high volumes and “tall bird” shooters will be placed accordingly. It will be open to dove hunting year round.

The lodge itself was built specifically to house dove hunters. It “maintains a very cozy and warm ambiance and makes clients feel right at home.” It’s got six “very comfortable rooms” and an extra loft room. Each room has two twin beds and a private bathroom.

It features an “amazing” gaucho bar and nice living areas for social interaction and world-class “white-glove service from a staff that is extremely friendly and makes you feel as if Posta del Norte is your Argentine home. Most of the staff was trained for 15+ years by previous owner who was known for impeccable service.”

The food is Argentine cuisine including juicy steaks and Malbec wines. David says, “We have split the 2013 season into a high and promotional season because of the demand of our clients. Please note that the birds are plentiful all year round.
