Luxury High Volume Dove Hunting in Argentina

Estancia Los Chanares Cordoba Dove hunting lodge is located in northern Cordoba Province, approximately 60 miles (100 km) or 1.5 hours from the international airport in Cordoba, Argentina.

Los Chanares is situated within the Cordoba agricultural area on 10,000 acres consisting of rolling hills, crop lands and streams. A 2,000 acre roosting/nesting sanctuary area is located on the property, with an estimated 20 to 25 million doves inhabiting the area for 10 months per year. Approximately 4,000 acres are planted in corn, wheat, sunflowers and sorghum annually which, together with the roost/nesting area described above, provides the perfect habitat to hold birds on the property.

There are 40 shooting areas on Los Chanares, all of which are within 5-15 minutes of the Lodge. This combination of roosting, nesting and foraging habitat provides the key elements necessary to provide the best and most conveniently located dove shooting destination in all of Cordoba Province.

The average number of doves shot per day is primarily determined by the stamina of the shooter, not by the number of doves flying. Our hunters typically shoot an average 800 to 1,500 doves per day. Some hunters have shot twice the above numbers or more.

This luxury Lodge has ten deluxe double bedrooms, all with private baths. The lodge owner has recently upgraded all of the bedroom linens with fine cotton sheets and has placed lush Egyptian cotton towels and bathrobes in each of the private baths. The Game Room/Library has a full open bar with premium wines and liquors. The Lodge also contains a gift shop for your convenience.

Outside the Lodge, there is a garden area with swimming pool for your relaxation. Noon meals are served in the garden area, while the evening meal is served in the Lodge dining room complete with fine china, crystal glassware and sterling silver tableware.
