Saskatchewan is known worldwide for its unbeatable quality of trophy big game hunting. We have created a hunting experience that compliments this notion.
We have mirrored our wild hunts to create and add a truly natural environment and feel to our 700 plus acre fenced ranch. Our Ranch consists mainly of boreal forest. Poplar, spruce and willow trees cover ninety percent of the ranch, with the rest consisting of 5 to 20 acre open fields. This combination offers a scenic, challenging and authentic setting for your hunt.
Whitetail Deer Hunting
The giant Trophy Bucks on our ranch range in score from 150 gross B&C to 215 gross B&C. The whitetail genetics at True North are continuously added from the most premium typical and non-typical bloodlines in North America, with heavy mass, long tines, big frames, and large bodies. Everything you would expect from your Saskatchewan whitetail. There are stands and bait stations placed throughout the property. You will hunt over bait piles from our comfortable heated stands. Shots range from 100 to 150 yards. The Bucks on our ranch range in score from 150 gross B&C to 185 gross B&C. They are all mature animals with heavy horns and heavy bodies. Deer scoring over 190 are available by special arrangement. Deer scoring over 200 can be hunted on our Platinum hunts.
Mule Deer Hunting
Monster Muley’s, that is what you can expect when you come for a mule deer hunt on this Ranch. We offer our mule deer hunts in the same area as our whitetail. Our 700 plus acre high fence ranch offers a truly wild and challenging setting for your hunt. These hunts packages are the same as our whitetail package on our deer page. Our mule deer range in size from 140 gross B&C to 170 gross B&C with no sliding price scales. Deer over 170 gross B&C are available upon request.
Elk Hunting
We are proud to offer some of the highest quality Trophy elk hunting that you will find anywhere. Just last season one of our archery hunters harvested a bull that scored over 470 typical that is currently being scored and officially placed in the SCI record books. Bulls on the ranch will be 6x6 or better and will range in score from 330 to 390 gross B&C with larger bulls available upon request. Hunting is done from both stands and by bugling and stalking methods. Success rates on these giant elk are very high with both archery and rifle hunters.
Bear Hunting
We’ve got plenty of big, old bruins. Our 24,000 acres of private property bear areas are in the region of Saskatchewan where the forest meets the farmland. This gives the bears plenty of cover and an ample food supply. We take a high percentage of bears each year that weigh over 400 pounds and are over six feet in length. Our areas along the Beaver River provide us with a high yield of color phase bears. These areas consistently produce many brown, blonde, and cinnamon bears.
You may hunt with a rifle, muzzleloader, or archery, with varying calibers recommended depending upon which species is being hunted.
Hunters should bring appropriate cold weather clothing and footwear, and a light rain suit for September and October hunts. Hunters will need to bring their own rifle or weapon of choice, ammunition, optics, camera, and personal hygiene products.
Heaters, stands and all other gear needed to outfit the hunt are provided.
The weather in Canada in the fall and winter seasons can get cold at times. Good cold weather clothing is very important, and we are happy to recommend equipment to make your hunt more enjoyable.
