Pedro was rich in La Pampa who dreamt about the positive results of introducing the majestic Red Stag to be hunted in Argentina. The breeder stag were brought in from France and later from Scotland and Germany. This first introduction was a tremendous success. Many years later, La Pampa became the first big game hunting destination in South America. Later, the red deer were also introduced in Northern Patagonia and recently into the Province of San Luis.
