Hunting Trip Donations for Conservation Fundraising

Global Sporting Safaris’ National Hunting Trip Donation Program has been instrumental in assisting non-profit organizations raise considerable funds since 2010.  One of the hottest hunts on live auction in the NHTDP is the New Zealand Safari.  This six night/five day New Zealand safari for two hunters is valued at $4995 with a low minimum bid of $2000 and valid for the 2013 and 2014 hunting seasons.  Luxury accommodations, gourmet meals, SCI Trophy Class animals, personal GSS consultant to assist with trip preparation and the hunt of lifetime await auction winners.  New Zealand donation hunts for 2013 are still available.  Contact Global Sporting Safaris for additional information on the New Zealand Hunting Safari donation.

Riverton Wyoming Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation raises $3,500 with help of Global Sporting Safaris

Mar 26, 2011/Riverton, Wyoming/ – Global Sporting Safaris, Inc. (GSS) is pleased to announce that the Riverton, WY, Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Big Game banquet raised over $3,500 for wildlife and habitat conservation through our hunting trip donation program. Their annual dinner event was held at the Wyoming Army National Guard Armory in Cody, Wyoming on March 26, 2011. A group of dedicated volunteers and co-chairs, Jim and Phyllis Penzien, put together an outstanding event. Jill Tonn, RMEF Wyoming Regional Director, assisted the committee in preparation as well as the evening’s events.

Global Sporting Safaris’ Katie Luthy of Sheridan, donated a big game Argentina hunting safari for four hunters. During the live auction GSS gave this RMEF chapter the opportunity to double the funds raised by offering a second safari to the second bidder. When given the opportunity to purchase the second hunt at the same auction price the second bidder eagerly accepted.

“These volunteers have truly shown their dedication to wildlife conservation. They worked tirelessly to put on this annual event, and it paid off with a very successful banquet. When I contacted one of the auction winners I was reminded how much of a positive impact this program has not only for the non-profit but also the hunters who purchase these donation safaris. These folks were very appreciative of this opportunity to hunt in Argentina and support the RMEF. I do my very best to make it to all the events. Unfortunately, a snow storm kept me from making it to Riverton. This is why I usually pack a dog sled and huskies,”laughs Katie Luthy, Global Sporting Safaris consultant.

Global Sporting Safaris has already helped raise over $46,450 for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in recent years. Hunt donations, though limited, are still available for other RMEF chapters across the nation.

“We have put together three high quality hunting donations that allows Global Sporting Safaris (GSS) to give back to the ‘not for profit’ organizations that help to promote our industry and our passion,” says Rick Kennerknecht, CEO of Global Sporting Safaris.

Global Sporting Safaris (GSS) makes theses donations available to 501c3, 501c4 or 501c6 organizations and there are a limited number of hunting trips available each year. The outfitters in this fundraising program offer 5-Star accommodations, excellent hunting areas, professional staff, exquisite local cuisine and trophy quality animals. Lander Wyoming Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation raises $3,050 with help of Global Sporting Safaris

Apr 16, 2011/Lander, Wyoming/ – Global Sporting Safaris, Inc. (GSS) is pleased to announce that the Lander, WY, Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Big Game banquet raised over $3,050 for wildlife and habitat conservation through our hunting trip donation program. Their annual dinner event was held at the Lander Community Center in Lander, Wyoming on April 16th, 2011. A group of dedicated volunteers and chairperson, Bill Durnal, put together an outstanding event. The Red Canyon (Lander) Chapter was the first Wyoming RMEF Chapter to raise over $100,000 in 2011! Jim Tonn, RMEF Wyoming Regional Director, assisted the committee in preparation as well as the evening’s events.

Global Sporting Safaris’ Katie Luthy of Sheridan, volunteered at the event and donated New Zealand and Argentina big game safaris.

“The Lander RMEF committee and volunteers are dedicated wildlife warriors! Year after year I’ve seen them raise big dollars for the RMEF, and this year was no different. In 2010 the three hunts I donated brought in over $7000 profit to this chapter. This year GSS helped the Lander RMEF raise over $3000 from our hunt donation program. That’s over $10,000 in two short years!”says Katie Luthy, Global Sporting Safaris consultant.
