Global Sporting Safaris is currently planning a “Special Hosted Hunt” sometime in December 2012 with dates to be announced depending on level of interest. Hunters will have the opportunity to hunt Duck or Dove or a combination of both. The hosted hunt offers 4-Star accommodations and 5-Star Service and will be four nights and 3 days in duration which will equate to 3 morning hunts and 3 afternoon hunts. Mexico Duck species available in the area are Pintail, Blue-winged Teal, Cinnamon Teal, Green-winged Teal, Redheads, Canvasback, Gadwall, Widgeon, Black-bellied Whistling Tree ducks (Pichiguila), Fulvous Whistling Tree ducks, Mottled Duck, Mallard, Shovler, Speckle Belly Geese and Black Brant Geese and well as Mourning Dove, White-winged Dove, Bobwhite and Gamble quail, and the exotic Elegante quail, which is native only to the state of Sinaloa in Mexico.

If you’re looking for Mexico duck & dove hunting at its best, this is the place. Attracting millions of waterfowl annually, the Mexican state of Sinaloa is alive with winged activity and natural beauty. Millions of ducks and dove are attracted each year by the warm climate and vast fields of rice, corn, barley and varieties of other crops that cover the lush farmlands of Sinaloa. Bird hunters get up to three extra months to hunt after most seasons close in the U.S. Reservations are being taken now for the upcoming season in Mexico.

Dove Hunting starts bright and early with breakfast at your hotel and then on to the fields for a morning dove hunt, then back to the Plaza Inn for lunch and a siesta, and lots more hunting in the afternoon. Dove hunting in Los Mochis is fast and furious and the hunting spots are as close as a 25 minute drive from the hotel! Hunters, their guides and bird boys are taken to fields where they pass shoot huge flocks of doves as they fly into the area to feed. Mourning doves are bagged from daylight till late-morning and White-wing doves start flying around 8-9:00am.
