The Togiak Wildlife Refuge near Dillingham, Alaska encompasses over 4 million acres of some of the best brown bear hunting habitat on earth! Because its status as a federal refuge, outfitters must go through a rigorous application process in order to operate in the unit. Upon selection of a unit, the outfitter is awarded exclusive rights to that area. DCA has secured hunts with two Master Guides in the “Tog.”
That’s 2 million plus acres for no more than 10 brown bear hunters per season! Imagine being only one of very few people to have ever set foot in this pristine Alaskan wilderness. Brown Bears average over 9 feet with even larger bears taken every fall.
